8 entrepreneurs win Z & S Business Plan Competition
The Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation recently held its 2nd edition of Entrepreneurship Development Project and rewarded Young Nigerians with outstanding business ideas.
The 2nd Edition of Entrepreneurship Development Project tagged ”Business Plan Competition” was held at the Westwood Hotel, 22, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, with crème-de-la-crème in business and Financial institutions in attendance.
The EDP is tailored towards empowering young Nigerians with business ideas either at conceptual level known as “Idea track” or transitional stage known as “Business Growth”.
The Business Plan Competition is an initiative put together by the Foundation, which a non-profit and non-governmental charity religion based organisation. It is a model design to take care of Idea Track and Business Growth categories.
“It is out to support Young Nigerian Entrepreneur with one Business Idea or the other. “This is the second Edition in a row 1st edition was held last year which had about eight winners emerged with four each from each category,” the Executive Director of the Foundation Prince Sulaiman Olagunju said.
The best applicants were carefully selected by a team of Business Development experts after rigorous screening.
