ZSF donates rams to prison inmates

As part of its core value of engendering happiness among the Muslims Ummah, the Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation (ZSF) extended a hand of fellowship to the Muslim inmates in three prisons yards in Lagos State at the just concluded Eidul Kabir festival.

The Operations Manager of the foundation, Alhaji Maruf Ahmed, said on Monday in Lagos that ZSF donated one big ram each to the prison at Badagri, Kirikir maximum and minimum prisons in the state.

Ahmed said that the gesture was to enable the Muslims in the prison also join their fellow Muslims worldwide to celebrate the Eid-ul-Hadiyyah. He said that the gesture was part of the foundation’s mandate to ensure the welfare of the Muslim Ummah, in whatever condition they may be.
