is currently a Senior lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Lagos. He bagged his bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Insurance and Management respectively from the University of Lagos. He obtain his second Master’s degree in Islamic Management, Banking and Finance (with Distinction) from the Loughborough University and a PhD in Insurance in Nottingham University Business School in 2009.
As an academic, Prof. Tajudeen has travelled to several countries; including the USA, UK, Malaysia, Japan, and Kenya to deliver lectures and participate in learned conferences, seminars and workshops. He has published more than fifty articles in referred and peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally.
He is currently an Associate member of the famous Chartered Insurance Institute of London and is the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP). As a member of Governing Council of the College of Insurance and Financial Management (CIFM), he is also Chief Examiner of the West African College of Insurance.
As an Islamic scholar, Prof. Tajudeen is one of the Imams of the University of Lagos Muslim Community and former Staff adviser for the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, University of Lagos Branch. Currently, he is the Chairman, Governing Board of the Zakat and Sadaqah Foundation.
He is currently the Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation. He holds a B.Sc Degree in Computer Science and Master Degree in Information Management both from the University of Lagos, Akoka as well as another Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Federal University of Technology (FUTA) Akure, Ondo State. Prince Olagunju is a member of several professional bodies such as Nigeria Computer Society; Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Project Management Professional (PMP) among others.
He has held managerial position with several Information Technology Organizations such as the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems, Victoria Island, Vivid Solutions Associates, Gbagada, Future Technology System, Ikorodu, Lagos and Joint Komputer Kompany, Ilupeju, Lagos State among others.
Kazeem Olayinka Owolabi a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) after being admitted as an Associate Member. In addition, he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and a Fellow of the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP). He was also a member of the Professional Practice Committee of ICAN from 2018 to 2019.
Olayinka has worked in a variety of industries for more than 20 years, including consulting, fast food, and conglomerates. His positions as Finance Manager at Woolworths Retail Stores Limited, Cost Accountant at Chellarams Plc, and Unit Accountant at Tantalizers are among his professional highlights. He spent five years at Luqujem & Co. as well. He is currently the Managing Partner of K. Olayinka Owolabi & Co. (Chartered Accountants, Tax & Business) and VBC Professional Services. and is the MD/CEO of LQ-Triumph Business Enterprises.
He is currently the Proprietor/Director of Nasrullah School (Day/Boarding) Lagos State. He is the Chairman, Committee of expert on Zakat, pioneer Chairman, Inheritance Committee as well as the Shariah Panel of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation and a executive member of Global Union for Zakat Rite (GUZR).
Sheikh Jamiu was a former Assistance Education Officer (1980 – 1994) at the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission and a former Deputy Director at An-Najat International School, Apapa, Lagos State. He holds a Certificate in Islamic and Arabic Language, Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Islamic Studies) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Master in Islamic Studies (M.ED) from University of Lagos, Akoka.
Dr. Abdullahi Shuaib is currently the Principal Consultant at AS & Associates, Lagos. He was the former Chief Executive Officer of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, Abuja. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s in political science (with specialization in Public Administration) both from the University of Lagos, Akoka and a PhD in Islamic Social Finance, Social Services and Non-Governmental Organizations from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He also attended an Arabic Language proficiency course at the Institute of Language, International University of Africa, Khartoum – Sudan. He obtained another professional certificate in Islamic finance and banking from the International Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIIBF), Bayero University Kano and a professional certificate in Interfaith Conflict Resolution & Reflective Structured Dialogue at the University of Massachusetts, Boston – USA.
He is a FELLOW of several development institutions such as Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals; Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria; Association of African Entrepreneurs of Nigeria; Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration; Institute of Classic Entrepreneurs; Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development and Institute of Public Administrators of England and Wales. He is also a Senior Fellow of Halal Professionals.
Dr. Shuaib was the former Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigeria-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industries/Nigerian-Arab Association, former Head (Southwest Nigeria), Penman Pension Limited and the pioneer Executive Director/CEO, Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation. He was a former member of the Governing Council of Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (IIFP), former Director, Al-Barakah Microfinance Bank Limited, as well as a former Director, Hajj Mabrur Ventures Limited. He also had a stint with the Lagos State University (LASU), Ikoyi External Campus and Ansar-ud-een College of Education, Isolo as a facilitator. He is a Certified Code of Ethics Practitioner, a Certified Islamic Banker, a Certified Islamic Specialist in Shari’ah Auditing of the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI). He is also a Fellow and Certified Shari’ah Advisor and Auditor of the Auditing and Accounting Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), a Certified Public Administrator of England and Wales as well as a Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.
